Spirit of Stones – How Hawaiʻi inspired our new collection
Sometimes a single moment is enough to take our breath away – a ray of light hitting the sea, a breeze brushing through palm leaves. For our content production team, it was a whole series of such moments that they captured during their recent photo shoot in Hawaii.

On their journey across the island of Oʻahu, they captured not only special places, but also moods, colors, and light that can only be found there. finds.
Back in Mannheim, our design team used these photos as a creative template – every scene, every color tone flowed into the conception of the Spirit of Stones Collection. Thus, our jewelry is not only decorated with real gemstones, but also carries real island energy.
We'll take you on a little trip to Hawaiʻi and show you the beautiful places that inspired us for the Spirit of Stones Collection:
Sunset over Shark's Cove, Pūpūkea – where fire meets water
On Oʻahu's legendary North Shore, famous for its perfect waves and relaxed surfer vibe, lies a very special spot: Shark's Cove in Pūpūkea. Despite its name (which, incidentally, refers to the shape of the bay), this is one of the island's most popular diving and snorkeling spots—full of colorful corals, fish, lava rocks, and turquoise waters.
But our favorite moment there took place above water: As the sun slowly disappeared over the horizon, it colored the sky and sea in bright orange, red, and pink. Against this backdrop: a surf shop with lined-up boards, a basketball court with palm trees—and a group of locals playing basketball in the light of the setting sun. This picture was pure joie de vivre.

In the Hawaiian SunsetJewelry in the collection reflects this scene in gemstones that convey warmth, vibrancy, and the freedom of the Pacific island. Shark's Cove is more than a beautiful place—it's a feeling you take with you.
Makapuʻu Beach at first light—the beginning of something new

At the very east of the island, at the end of the stunning Kalanianaʻole Highway, lies the beautiful Makapuʻu Beach. Known for its black lava rock, powerful waves, and the lighthouse of the same name high above the coast, this spot is perfect for starting the day with a sunrise.
When our team arrived there early in the morning, the sky was still delicate and cool, streaked with gray-blue clouds, as the first rays of sunlight broke through, bathing the sea in a delicate golden light. The waves swirled turbulently against the black rocks, white spray danced in the air—raw, powerful, and yet peaceful.
Makapuʻu stands for new beginnings, for the power of nature, for clarity. We captured this atmosphere in the gemstones, which reflect the play of colors created by light, lava rock, and water.
Hawaii tip for early risers: The Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail offers breathtaking views of the vast ocean – on clear days, you might even see whales passing by.
Palikū Gardens, Kualoa Ranch – green magic between mountains and sea
Tucked away on Oʻahu's east coast lies a place that is almost too beautiful to be real: the Palikū Gardens on the grounds of the famous Kualoa Ranch. This sprawling ranch is not only one of Hawaii's oldest farms, but also known as a film set for blockbusters like Jurassic Park and Jumanji – and it feels just as spectacular to be standing there.
The gardens themselves are a tropical paradise: Palm trees, hibiscus, and other native plants grow between emerald-green mountains. The air is filled with the scent of blossoms and birdsong, the ground lush green – a place that is both deeply grounding and inspiring.
From here, you can see all the way to the ocean, where Mokoliʻi rises in the distance – a small, pointed island affectionately called Chinaman's Hat because of its shape. For us, this silhouette against the open sea represents longing, freedom, and the power to transcend oneself.
In the Spirit of Stones Collection, we carry this energy further: The stones of the Island Dream jewelry pieces reflect the lush vegetation and vitality of the gardens, as well as the depth and magic of the sea.
A visit to the Kualoa Ranch – and especially the Palikū Gardens – is a must for any Oʻahu trip. Whether on a guided tour of the film sets, a hike along the mountains, or a quiet moment in the garden – here you will experience the pure soul of Hawaiʻi.
